What are Silver Notes?

Silver Notes are made by placing thin layers of silver in between sheets of polyester. The final product is a note with artistic designs and actual silver inside of it. Most Silver Notes these days feature proof-like images, colorization, and more. To further protect your note, most Silver Notes will arrive in currency sleeves.

Iron Maiden Notes

Crafted by CIT, these Iron Maiden notes commemorate some of the metal band’s most popular albums. Each proof-like note comes laminated with a Certificate of Authenticity and has a mintage of 5,000.

For 2023, the CIT released a note for the iconic Piece of Mind album to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album’s release. This album was the first that featured new drummer, Nicko McBrain. This album went platinum in both the UK and the USA.

For 2024, the album cover for The Book of Souls was displayed on these notes. The 16th studio album from Iron Maiden is the band’s longest album at just over 90 minutes long. This album was the 5th from the metal band to reach number 1 in the UK.

Harry Potter Notes

This Silver Note features Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, along with the Hogwarts school crest on the reverse. These notes arrive in Harry Potter-themed currency sleeves and have proof-like visuals to them. This note has a mintage of 20,000 and has 3 grams of .999 silver.
