Caribbean Silver Coins at BGASC

The growing demand for silver bullion coins has inspired various nations across the globe to get in the mix. Even if these nations don’t have the resources to create the coins themselves, they can use private mints, such as the Scottsdale Mint, to produce these Silver Coins for them. Learn all about the popular Caribbean Silver Coin options, right here at BGASC.

Barbados Trident

This series debuted in 2017 and issues a gold and silver coin annually. These coins are issued by the Scottsdale Mint who’s known for creating coinage for foreign governments.

These coins feature the image of a trident on the reverse while the Barbados coat of arms is on the obverse side. The trident is an ancient Roman symbol for Neptune, the god of the sea. The trident can also be seen on the national flag of Barbados.

Silver coins in the series are composed of 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver and will arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Coins will arrive in individual plastic flips. For larger orders, tubes of 20 or boxes of 500 are available. These coins have a face value of 1 Dollar that is backed by Barbados.

While the overall image of the trident remains the same, the reverse does change every year in the form of a new background.
