  • Certified American Silver Eagles at BGASC

American Silver Eagles are among the most popular silver coins on the market today. With new issued every year, they’re constantly a top choice for investors and collectors of silver coins. One popular option for fans of this iconic coin program is to purchase Certified Silver Eagles. These coins have been meticulously analyzed and graded by coin-grading providers, thus offering you the security and peace of mind of knowing exactly what you’re ordering. Right here, you can learn about all the Certified Silver Eagles available at BGASC.

    Certified American Silver Eagles

Many places will grade American Silver Eagles, two of the most well-known though are the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). Each coin grading provider grades coins using the Sheldon Scale of 1-70, with 70 being a perfect specimen.

Coins are graded, encapsulated in a protective plastic slab, then returned to their owner to preserve the graded condition of the coin.

There is no limit to which American Silver Eagle can receive a grade. When browsing our selection of Certified Silver Eagles, you’ll see a wide array of BU, proof, and reverse proof coins from every year of the American Silver Eagle Series.

The most common grades you’ll see when purchasing a Certified Silver Eagle Coin are MS70 and MS69.

    • MS70: Perfect specimen. Coins with a grade of 70 have their full, original mint luster with no post-production detractions of any kind, even when viewed under 5x magnification.
    • MS69: Near-perfect specimen. Coins with a grade of 69 have their full original mint luster with a max of two minor post-production marks. These can include hairlines or small contact marks.

When viewing our selection of Certified Silver Eagles, you’ll notice a lot of unique terminology and unique designations. Learn more about what these mean by looking at our Certified Silver Coins.

    Investor Appeal
