The 10 oz SilverTowne Buffalo Design Bar pays homage to the original Indian and Buffalo from Buffalo Nickels (also known as Indian Head Nickels) which were minted by the US Mint from 1913-1938. This bar design looks as if an enlarged nickel is actually pressed into the bar itself, featuring the Indian Head in a circle on a proof-like background on the obverse in a vertical display with the weight and purity designation of “.999 FINE SILVER TEN TROY OUNCES” below. The reverse has the Buffalo (bison) atop a proof-like finish in a circle on a waffle pattern.
