The Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a 50-cent coin minted from 1916 to 1947. It was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and depicts Lady Liberty striding toward the sun on the obverse and a majestic bald eagle rising from a perch with inscription “E PLURIBUS UNUM” on the reverse.
