These circulated 90% silver Barber Half Dollars are sold individually, each half dollar containing approximately 0.36 ozt of pure silver. The Barber Half Dollar was minted from 1892 to 1915 and depicts the head of Liberty, facing right. She wears a pileus, a crown fashioned from an olive branch, and a small headband inscribed “Liberty”. The motto “In God We Trust” appears above her head, and she is surrounded with 13 six-pointed stars and the date. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle holding a scroll inscribed “E Pluribus Unum” in its beak, an olive branch in its right claw and 13 arrows in its left.
