Each of the 50 Utah Goldback Gold Note will be delivered in a protective, plastic currency sleeve. The reason for this is that gold notes are produced with thin layers of gold bullion placed in between two polyester sheets.

Obverse

Libertas is featured on the obverse face of the 50 Utah Goldback Gold Note. She is depicted in the heart of nature holding up a burning torch to the sky. She is surrounded by wild animals such as sheep and a mountain lion. There are a variety of text inscriptions located all over the Goldback.

Reverse

The reverse face of the 50 Utah Goldback Gold Note features a blank field. There are no distinct text inscriptions or unique designs. It is a blank field that only displays the image found on the obverse.
