The SilverTowne Buffalo 5 oz Silver Bar is five troy ounces of .999 fine silver and has had its weight and fineness certified by SilverTowne. The front and back of these 5 oz SilverTowne Silver Bars are an homage to James Earl Fraser’s “Buffalo Nickel”, a five-cent coin struck by the U.S. Mint from 1913 to 1938. The obverse features an American Indian’s profile with the inscription “LIBERTY” in a perfect circle along with the weight and fineness of the bar. The reverse of the 5 oz SilverTowne Buffalo bar features the American Buffalo, the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” in a perfect circle surrounded by the classic SilverTowne waffle pattern.
These 5 oz SilverTowne Buffalo Bars are brand new from the SilverTowne mint and come individually sealed in mint plastic. 5 oz Silver Bar Tubes (sold separately) are also available for safe and convenient storage of 5 oz silver bars.
