The obverse of the 2025 Colorized Australian Silver Lunar Snake Coin includes the first-generation portrait of King Charles III. Designed by Dan Thorne in 2024, the portrait shows the King without a crown in a left-facing profile, now featured on Australian coinage.
Reverse
Looking at the reverse, the 2025 2 oz Colorized Silver Lunar Snake Coin displays a snake resting in a coiled position, its head raised in a watchful pose. Surrounding the animal is a natural setting with tropical plants and a stream. Soft color tones of green, blue, and white are used to bring the snake to life within the design.
