Obverse

The obverse of the 2025 Samoa Majestic Wildlife Moose Silver Coin showcases an effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne. This is one of the first coin portraits of the king, shown in left-profile relief without a crown on his head.

Reverse

On the reverse side, the 2025 1 Kilo Majestic Wildlife Moose Silver Coin features a detailed depiction of the majestic mooses head, with the design presented in front-facing relief. The coin has an ornate border along the bottom, and each coin is individually numbered on the edge.

History

Despite their size, moose are generally peaceful and solitary, spending most of their time feeding on vegetation in forests and wetlands. These animals eat up to 50 pounds of food daily, using their strong necks and specialized lips to strip leaves from branches and access aquatic plants. Moose are also great swimmers, allowing them to reach food sources in deeper waters.
