History

Suchomimus, whose name translates to “crocodile mimic,” was a large theropod dinosaur that lived around 125 to 112 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period. This dinosaur roamed the tropical regions of what is now Niger in Africa. Its elongated snout and sharp teeth gave it a striking resemblance to modern crocodiles.
