History

American Platinum Eagle Coins are the only ones in the American Eagle bullion series not to use a historic Liberty design. The Gold Eagle features Lady Liberty from the 1907 Double Eagle. The Silver Eagle depicts Walking Liberty from the 1916 Half Dollar. The Palladium Eagle features Winged Liberty from the 1916 Dime.
