History

Created by William Moulton Marston, Wonder Woman made her comic book debut in 1941. Following her backup appearance in All-Star Comics No. 8, the beloved superheroine quickly rose to prominence when she appeared on the cover of Sensation Comics in January of 1942. By the summer of that same year, she had her own comic book series, which is ongoing to this day.
