Obverse

The late Queen of England is featured on the obverse face of the 2022 Great Britain Gold Double Sovereign coin. This is the upgraded, fifth-generation effigy of Her Majesty which was designed by Jody Clark. She is depicted in a right-facing portrait with the George IV State Diadem Crown.

Reverse

The reverse face of the 2022 Great Britain Gold Double Sovereign features the Royal Arms of England. The image features a lion and a unicorn holding up the shield of the United Kingdom with the Imperial Crown on top of the design element.
