Each coin is housed in a protective capsule, and the pair comes together in a display box. The coins were issued by the French Mint and the Royal Spanish Mint, featuring face values in Euros supported by their respective nations.

French Coin

On the obverse of the French coin, youll find a vibrant reproduction of Dals 1931 masterpiece, The Persistence of Memory. This iconic artwork is famous for its melting clocks draped over a dreamlike landscape, symbolizing the fluidity of time. The setting reflects the cliffs of Dals native Catalonia, adding a personal connection to the piece. The reverse side of the coin includes the Rodin Museum and the hallmarks of the mint.

Spanish Coin

The obverse of the Spanish coin features The Temptation of Saint Anthony, a striking depiction of Saint Anthonys battle with worldly temptations. Painted in 1946, the scene shows a parade of elephants with long, thin legs carrying symbols of temptation, while a lone figure holds a cross for protection. The reverse of the coin displays a portrait of Salvador Dal along with the mint hallmarks.
