The reverse of this coin features the symbolic American Bald Eagle. The eagle is clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons and has its wings outstretched. There are several marlins on the reverse as well, including In God We Trust, United States Of America and One Dollar.
History
The Morgan Dollar has a long history going back to its first mintage year of 1878. The coin was produced until 1904 and then stopped. It was then minted again for only one year in 1921. The coin has been minted again since 2021 and could be minted for many years to come.
