Obverse
The obverse of the coin features Queen Elizabeth II. The right-hand profile image of her shows her earring earrings, a necklace, and a crown. Her name, as well as the mintage year, weight, purity, and metal content are all present as well. The obverse also has markings that read Australia and Elizabeth II.
Reverse
The reverse of this coin features the two Pixiu design. They are standing up, facing each other indirectly. They are on top of a pile of coins. One Pixiu is holding a ball and the other is holding a Pixiu club. A stylized border design encircles the element of the reverse.
History
The Pixiu are believed to have their origin in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD). In Chinese history, Pixiu are often displayed in ancient architecture. The coin series, minted by the Perth Mint, is just in its second year of release.
