The image presents a view of the building from the base of the staircase leading to its entrance.

The reverse of the 2004 1/2 oz Gold Panda Coin captures an intimate moment between a mother panda and her cub. Panda mothers dedicate themselves to nurturing their young, teaching them essential survival skills, including how to forage for bamboo. Most cubs remain with their mothers for about two years before becoming independent.
