Each 1992 1 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coin is shipped in a sealed plastic pouch to help protect its condition. This version is known as the Small Date variety. The font used for the date is more compact and closely spaced, in contrast with the wider style used in the Large Date version.

Obverse

The obverse of the coin displays the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests at Beijings Temple of Heaven. This view shows the structures front entrance and circular shape, standing out clearly against a plain background. This design has remained unchanged since the series began in 1982.

Reverse
