Obverse

On the obverse of the 1932 $10 Indian Gold Eagle Coin, Liberty is depicted wearing a headdress reminiscent of Native American ceremonial attire. Known as the “Indian Head” design, it includes 13 stars in an arch above Libertys bust and the year of issue beneath the portrait.

Reverse

The reverse of the 1932 $10 Indian Gold Eagle features a bald eagle perched on a sheaf of arrows bound together with an olive branch. This design was initially created by Saint-Gaudens for the US Penny but was ultimately used for the $10 Eagle at the request of President Roosevelt.
