History

As the 1920s came to a close, the mintage of Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles became centralized at the Philadelphia Mint. The 1928, 1928, 1932, and 1933 issues came only from the Philadelphia Mint, while the 1930 issue was only available from San Francisco and the 1931 issue featured Philadelphia and Denver issues.
