1922 Peace Silver Dollar Coin PCGS MS64
Product Description
There are few issues of the Peace Silver Dollar as significant as the 1922 release. Though it wasn’t the first or the last or a one-time issue from any given branch mint, the 1922 issue of the coin stands the test of time as the highest-minted Peace Dollar of all time. Now, you can add certified 1922 Peace Silver Dollar Coins to your collection by shopping online at BGASC.

Obverse
The obverse design of these 1922 Peace Silver Dollars features the iconic image of Lady Liberty. Created by Anthony de Francisci, this left-profile bust showcases Liberty wearing a beautiful crown while her hair flows in the breeze.
Reverse
On the reverse, you’ll find the majestic American bald eagle perched with its wings at its side, gripping an olive branch in its talons. This unique design sets the 1922 Peace Dollars apart from other American coinage, as it does not include the arrows of war or the US national shield.
History
In total, more than 84 million coins were struck between the Philadelphia Mint, Denver Mint, and the San Francisco Mint. The Philadelphia Mint alone struck 51.737 million coins. The Denver Mint would never issue a higher number than its 1922 release, and San Francisco would surpass its 1922 mintage just one time, the next year in 1923.
