History

Poured silver bars are manufactured by encasing silver shot or ingots in molds. These molds are heated, often through induction, until the silver liquefies. Once cooled and solidified, the bars are extracted and refined. Some producers employ a technique of injecting molten silver into molds through tiny inlets. The finished cast bars typically boast smoother, more uniform surfaces than hand-poured alternatives.
