Product Description
Available as low as $3.09 per oz over spot!
One of the most appealing aspects of acquiring silver is its stackability. Bars, for example, can be easily stacked for home storage or storage within a safe deposit box. Coins and rounds, however, may be a little more challenging to hold together. Thats why SilverTowne and A-Mark Precious Metals got together to design and produce a truly stackable silver round-the 1 oz SilverTowne Buffalo STackable Silver Round in new condition.
Round Highlights:
- Shipped in individual plastic flips or tubes for 20 lots to protect round surfaces!
- New product series from SilverTowne!
- Contains 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver
- Obverse features the famous Indian head Design from the Buffalo Nickel
- Reverse features the bison that inspired the reverse of the Buffalo Nickel
- Stackable design feature along the rim
Each silver round is wrapped individually with a plastic flip to protect it during transit. 20 lot shipments are packed using tubes to protect the rounds.
Obverse
The obverse of these silver rounds features the classic Indian Head Design. Previously used for the Buffalo Nickel, this design has been used on various coins and rounds throughout its history. The obverse also has the word Liberty etched along its upper right-hand side.
Reverse
The reverse of this silver round also features an iconic and highly symbolic figure. Black Diamond, the bison used for the Buffalo Nickel reverse, is present in a left-sided profile picture. The reverse also features the rounds weight, purity, and metal content inscriptions.
History
The history of these two designs goes back quite a ways. The Indian Head design was first struck by the U.S. Mint in 1913. The mint used the design as the obverse of its Indian Head NIckel from 1913 to 1938. The Bison was also used on the coins reverse during this time.
