This 2 oz silver bar is the fifth issue in the series and features Ull, a Norse god associated with winter, hunting, and archery. Ull was the son of the goddess Sif and the stepson of Thor. Each 2 oz Germania Mint Gods Ull Cast Silver Bar arrives in a neat presentation box and a themed outer shipper. A Certificate of Authenticity is included, and each silver bar is individually serialized within the limited mintage of 999, shown as X/999.

Obverse

The obverse side of the bar displays the Germania Mint logo and important inscriptions, including the bars weight, purity, and serial number. The mint uses a simplified version of its emblem to complete the design.

Reverse

On the reverse, Ull is shown in a snowy setting with a bow in one hand and a battle ax in the other. A quiver of arrows hangs at his back. In some stories, Ull temporarily ruled Asgard during Odins absences, marking his status among the Norse gods. His bow was said to be crafted from yew wood.

History

Known for his talents with a bow and his movement over snow on skis or snowshoes, Ull played an important role in Norse mythology. While few written sources mention him, place names in regions like Norway and Sweden suggest his influence in ancient religious practices.
