Obverse

The obverse of the 2025 Germania Silver Round portrays Germania standing tall, gripping a wooden shield with a double-headed eagle in one hand and a sword in the other. The addition of a crown signifies her completed journey to becoming Queen. The design also includes two ravens, symbolic of wisdom and hidden knowledge in Norse mythology.

Reverse

On the reverse of the 2025 1 Kilo Germania Silver Round, the bicephalous eagle is featured. This powerful emblem signifies the ability to reflect on the past while looking forward. The eagle clutches lightning bolts and is flanked by olive branches, representing a balance of strength and peace.

The Germania Series draws inspiration from the historic Germanic tribes, including the Chatti, Cherusci, and Tencteri. These groups were independent but shared common cultural and linguistic traits. They resisted Roman expansion, a legacy that later became an enduring symbol of German strength and national identity. Germania, as a personification, embodies this heritage.
