Obverse

On the obverse of the 2024 British Platinum Britannia Coin is a left-profile bust of King Charles III. This is the first portrait of the King on Royal Mint coinage, designed by Martin Jennings. Unlike the portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, the King is shown without a crown, marking a new chapter in the history of the Britannia Series.

Reverse

The reverse of 2024 1/10 oz Platinum Britannia Coins features the iconic design of Britannia. Created by Philip Nathan in 1987, the image shows Britannia standing with a trident in one hand, an olive branch in the other, and a shield at her side. This design has been a hallmark of the Britannia Series since its first release, continuing to symbolize British strength and tradition.
