History

The giant panda, a beloved symbol in China, has a unique life cycle. Female pandas give birth to 1-3 cubs after a short gestation of 4-5 months. The cubs are born incredibly small, weighing just 100-200 grams, and depend entirely on their mothers for care in the early years. Mother pandas stay closely involved, offering food, shelter, and protection.
