Product Description
Any quantity available for $614.99 per coin over spot!
The $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coin is one of Americas longest-standing coin designs, running from 1838 through 1907 without any major changes. During the federal melting programs of the 1930s, many of these coins were lost, so finding a well-preserved specimen today is a true collectors item. Right now, certified Pre-1933 $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coins are available online at BGASC.

Obverse
The obverse of the Pre-33 $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coin features Lady Liberty. Christian Gobrechts design from 1838 shows Liberty in profile facing left, with a coronet inscribed “LIBERTY” on her head. Thirteen stars surround her, along with the coins date of issue.
Reverse
The reverse side of the $10 Liberty Eagle displays the heraldic eagle, a national symbol of strength and resilience. The eagle stands with its head facing to the right (coin left) and has a shield over its chest. It grasps arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, representing the nations readiness for both peace and defense.
History
Throughout its history, the $10 Liberty Gold Eagle saw only one minor change. Coins from 1838 to early 1866, known as Type I, did not bear the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST.” In late 1866, the motto was added above the eagle on the reverse.
