The obverse of the 2025 Australian Gold Lunar Snake features a left-profile bust of King Charles III, marking a significant moment in the history of the Lunar Series. This portrait by Dan Thorne represents the first time a monarch other than Queen Elizabeth II has appeared on these coins.
