The obverse of the 2025 British Silver Britannia Coins features the first portrait of King Charles III, crafted by Martin Jennings in 2022. This left-facing image of the King, without a crown, was first introduced on British coinage in 2023.

The reverse side of the 2025 1/4 oz Silver Britannia Coin showcases Britannia, a design by Philip Nathan that has been part of the series since 1987. Britannia is depicted standing with a trident in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, resting on a shield bearing the Union Jack. She is also wearing a Corinthian helmet, completing the powerful image.
