These 10 oz Antique Argentia Elephant Rounds were crafted through a free-flowing metal process, which gives each piece a distinctive live-edge look. Die-stamped, each round is made from silver sourced from an LBMA-authorized refinery. The rounds will be packaged in protective mylar sleeves, which are sealed shut with special holographic adhesives.

Obverse

For the obverse of 10 oz Antique Elephant Silver Rounds, the Argentia company logo is found inside of a diamond shape. The logo features a stylized triangle with the word Argentia inscribed beneath it. The obverse also features the rounds identifying hallmarks, which read 10 oz .9999 Fine Silver. These details are set against a beautiful backdrop that recalls classical Greek meander patterns.

Reverse

For the reverse of these 10 oz Antique Argentia Silver Rounds an African elephant is depicted in a forward-facing position. Shown in a closeup, the elephant looks at us with its trademark care and compassion. This design was augmented with an antique finish, which nicely brings out the textured elements of the image.

History

With an impressive length of about 24 feet and a height of 13 feet, the African elephant has earned the title of the Worlds Largest Land Animal. And as for their weight, the larger elephants can come in at a whopping 13,000 pounds. Elephants are found in groups with a matriarchal social order. Currently, they are most commonly spotted in Eastern and Southern Africa.
