Adopted in 1993, this design shows a quartered shield with heraldic lions and eagles in the four quadrants. The center bears a crest with Noahs Ark atop Mount Ararat. The shield is supported by a heraldic eagle and a heraldic lion.
Reverse
For the reverse field of the 2023 1/4 oz Silver Noahs Ark Coins, the mint features a depiction of Noahs Ark. This artistic rendering captures the ark floating on the flood waters. The sun rises over Mount Ararat in the distance as a dove flies into the foreground with an olive branch in its beak.
