A detailed effigy of President Abraham Lincoln is featured on the obverse face of the 1 oz Lincoln Head Copper Round. It was created by Augustus Saint Gaudens who depicts him in a right-facing portrait surrounded by a wreath and the text inscription E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One) engraved over his head.

Reverse

The reverse face of the 1 oz Lincoln Head Copper Round features the image of the US national seal. The image highlights a bird’s wings on both sides of an American crest with the American flag waving overhead.
