One of the most intriguing coin programs on the planet is the Chinese Silver Panda Coins. These coins debuted in 1982 as a gold coin, with the silver release coming out the following year. From 1983 to 1985 these coins were issued as proof strikes. These coins took a brief break in 1986 and 1988, other than that they have been issued every year. Chinese Silver Panda Coins feature a unique image of a panda with every issue (except for 2001 and 2002). Notably, the series made the switch from Troy oz to grams in 2016. While the 2024 Chinese Gold Panda Coins are available in numerous sizes, the 2024 Chinese Silver Panda Coins are only available in a 30 gram size. However, they’re available in three unique variations.

• BU: .999 pure silver in BU condition. Coins are available in individual capsules, trays of 30, or Monster Boxes of 600.
• Colorized: A colorized coin with a limited availability of just 5,000. Coins are issued in individual capsules.
• Gilded: Similar to the colorized coin, the gilded coin has a limited availability of just 5,000 coins. These coins, to create a striking image, feature a thin layer of 24-karat gold on the pandas.
